  1. Insert the "U" shaped Gripping Bracket (Fig.2/1 - #1) behind the left hand inner locking rod below the bottom pair locking handles of the truck or container.
     
  2. Insert the Spacer (Fig.2/1 - #2) into the "U" shaped Gripping Bracket (Fig.2/1 #1).
     
  3. Insert the Locking Bar (Fig.2/2 - #3) through the Gripping Bracket (Fig.2/1 - #1). and the Spacer (Fig.2/1 - #2) halfway across towards the adjacent inner locking rod of the opposite door.
     
  4. Insert the "U" shaped Gripping Bracket (Fig.2/1 - 4) behind the right hand inner locking rod below the bottom pair locking handles of the truck or container.
     
  5. Insert the Spacer (Fig.2/1 - #5) into the "U" shaped Gripping Bracket (Fig.2/2 - 4).

    Note: See Fig. 2/1 for the correct installation mode of 1 & 2 and 4 & 5.
     
  6. Insert the Sliding Locking Bar(Fig.2/2 - #3) through the Gripping Bracket (Fig.2/1 - #4). and the Spacer (Fig.2/1 - #5) all the way until the bent tail end of the locking bar rests against the "U" shaped Gripping Bracket (Fig.2/1 - #1).

    Note: The bent tail end of the bar should face the door to assure optimum security!
     
  7. Place the Locking Unit (Fig.2/3 - #6) behind the Locking Bar (Fig.2/2 - #3) facing the 14.5 mm Ø (abt 9/16") hole.
     
  8. Insert the Locking Pin (Fig.2/3 - #7) through the 14.5 mm Ø (abt 9/16") hole in the Locking Bar (Fig.2/2 - #3) into the Locking Unit (Fig.2/3 - #6). Secure the Locking Pin (Fig.2/3 - #7) in the the Locking Unit (Fig.2/3 - #6) by turning it 90º (a quarter turn) anti-clockwise. Remove the key for safekeeping.

    Note: Finally grip the Locking Pin (Fig.2/3 - #7) and pull it firmly trying to separate it from the Locking Unit (Fig.2/3 - #6) in order to make sure that those parts are firmly engaged and locked and can not be separated.

    This concludes the installation procedure of the NAVALOCK MKII-B Security System.
     
  9. Important notes:
    1. The NAVALOCK MKII-BL can be used as a seal (image) by use of an optional seal through the 12 mm Ø (abt 1/2") hole in the Locking Bar (Fig.2/2 - #3). This seal number must be entered into all shipping documents to assure undisputable evidence of tampering. No additional seals are required, because by applying the optional seal on the Locking Bar (Fig.2/2 - #3), the NAVALOCK is the seal.
       
    2. To assure tamper evidence by the receiver, any optional seals or marks which have been added on the container, or truck, additionally to the seal of the MKII-BL, must also be entered into all the shipping documents.
